It is geared to bring hope, healing, and freedom to those who are struggling with issues concerning challenging relations with adult children who are often in crises.

Young People’s Beginning Experience
The loss of a parent through death, or a changed parental relationship through divorce or separation can be a traumatic experience for young people. The Young People’s Beginning Experience program provides a safe, secure environment where teens (ages 13-18) can sort out with other teens their feelings of loss and pain while strengthening their self-esteem and self-acceptance. Angels on Call Program
This program is designed to be a support system to patients, families, and staff at the important hours of end-of-life care. Volunteers are recruited, trained and placed with patients whom nursing staff have determined are in the active-dying phase and need human comfort and support if family and friends are not present due to distance, timing or other limitations.

Meals to Go
“Meals to Go” is a service that is available to West Deer residents. They operate on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The meals are fresh made from Starr Road Mushroom Market and are for the elderly, homebound or any others who have the need. The cost for each meal is $5.00. St. Vincent DePaul Clothing Box
We have a St. Vincent DePaul Clothing Box in the Transfiguration Church parking lot. This is for clothing only and will be picked up twice a week. We are asking that if you have any clothing items that you will not need anymore to please put them in this box. These clothing items will be given to local families who are in need of clothes for free.
